The issue of safety is of paramount importance to all of us. All procedures employed by ATA include more than the usual safety precautions. Comprehensive safety training is an integral part of our operations. We are proud of our accident free record, and we intend to keep this status through regular equipment checks, WHS compliance checks and quality training.
Our abseilers are not daredevils looking for a thrill - we are qualified tradesmen with years of industry experience - with a head for heights!
We are all licensed tradesmen that noticed a need in the industry and therefore got into the rope access industry and realized that we we love it. We love what we do and you will see that it comes through in our work and our attitude towards the work we do.
This is a question we get asked at nearly every job and the answer is, no, and this is one way in which we differ from many other rope access companies. We are tradesmen that identified a need and therefore learnt industrial rope access skills. Many of our competitors will talk up all their climbing experience, but they forget that we are employed for our trade skills. We are all certified rope access technicians, we do refresher courses, but we never forget that we are tradesmen first and foremost.
